About Emmest...

Emmest has been behind a lens for most of her life after being given her first Nikon film camera by her photographer father in her teens. Since then she has been fortunate enough to travel the world extensively, photographing people and faces in many wonderful far reaching places...

Emmest is completely self taught though humbly inspired by her peers and comes from a strong Design background where she gained a Higher National Diploma in Design at the London College of Printing & Distributive Trades LCPDT (now the University of the Arts).

She specialises in Weddings and Live events from Music and Dance to Corporate functions and Festivals and relishes challenging lighting conditions, putting her love of low light to the test.

Balancing ambient light and flash techniques, she aims to conjure mood and artistry with her images. Photography for Emmest is all about recreating the beauty the eye can see and her vision and love for detail is apparent in her work .
