Description
CineCopters bring together state-of-the-art unmanned aerial system (UAS) technology, the latest motion picture cameras, advanced gimbal technology and a group of experienced film and television professionals.
The custom-built octocopter “The Spider” sits on top of the MoVI MR/M10 3 axis stabilised head. It has 360 degrees of pan and 180 degrees of tilt while at the same time keeping a perfectly level horizon.
The head is controllable via either hand wheels or joystick (operators choice). The hand wheel system offers pan and tilt speed, damping and physical wheel resistance adjustable via the control console.
Head operation is monitored from a ground station via a zero delay video link. It also allows the live picture to be viewed on multiple monitors.
A two person crew is required when flying. One pilot and one gimbal technician/spotter.
