Hi! We are Russ and Ruth of RR Photographic, a young husband and wife photography team based in beautiful Bournemouth, Dorset.
We specialise in portrait, commercial, event and wedding photography.
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY:
Choosing the right wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you will need to make when planning your wedding! So much time and energy goes into your wedding preparations…the venue…the dress…the food…the cake…the rings…the flowers…the list goes on and on! Your wedding, as fantastic as it will be, will only last for one amazing day, but your photos of all those magical, once in a lifetime moments, (including all those elements that you spent so many hours and so much energy planning), will last for decades to come.
As a consequence, we understand how important it is to work with you, understand your personal style and preferences and help you to capture every part of your special day. We realise that your wedding day is not a photoshoot so we won’t spend hours making you pose for awkward formal shots while your guests get tired and bored! We will quickly capture the classic formal shots for your album, we will go to a location at an appropriate moment in the day to get the beautiful, classic couple shots and at all other times we will discreetly and professionally photograph your day and record the events (reportage wedding photography style), so that all you need to worry about is enjoying your wedding!
It might be tempting to choose a cheap wedding photographer to try to cut the costs down a little on your wedding, but we really recommend that you don’t cut corners on your wedding photography as your photos are a record of the day and one of the most important elements to get right.
We also understand that everyone is different; some people feel quite at home in front of a camera and feel restricted by being told how to pose, whereas others don’t feel so comfortable and would like advice on how to stand for the most flattering angle. We will meet with you before your wedding, discuss your preferences and work with you to get the results you want. We are creative people and we love to hear your ideas, but we will tell you straight if we think something won’t work and why.
We are based in Bournemouth, but we cover Dorset and Hampshire and will attend alternative locations if necessary so just give us a call to discuss!
